Andhra Government’s next step towards the welfare of poor families

From the ideals of Dr.YS Rajashekar Reddy and by the chief minister’s decision, a team of ministers headed by the deputy chief minister are setting the plan to distribute agricultural land for poor families after distributing nearly 62000 acres of land for housing sites. The first step towards it would be to complete a comprehensive land survey in the state.

Speaking on the occasion Das said, “steps are being taken to select beneficiaries transparently for agriculture land assigning”. The final list would be sent to the government upon review by the committee headed by legislators. The 2.5 acres of wetland or 5 acres of dry land could be up for distribution.

Agriculture land distribution scheme was launched in 1954 which benefitted lots of people by the distribution of 33.29 lakhs of acres till 2014.
