Fleet of 1088 Ambulances to meet the medical emergencies of Rural AP
Ambulances equipped with modern life support systems have been flagged off by Chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Vijayawada. These would meet the present medical emergencies and pandemic situations across the villages.
The complete fleet of 1088 ambulances includes 412 new 108 ambulances, 104 advanced life support vehicles, and 282 basic life support vehicles. This initiative has taken a budget toll of Rs 201 crore.
Also introducing a new program Dr. YSR Rahadari Bhadratha, which would treat any road accident case free of cost across any hospital for the first 48 hours and up to Rs 50000. This benefit will be reimbursed by Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.
