Snail sold for 18000 at An auction

Snail which can grow up to 70 cm and length and could be 18 kg which was identified as Syrinx Aruanus is one of the world’s largest land and water species among snails. This has been found on the rivers of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh which fetched 18000 at An auction.

These snails are wonderful to look at but are under local extension as the shells are much popular among the ornament makers while creating jewelry pieces. The orange-colored Snail was found on the river bank and ANI said in a tweet sharing 3 pictures.
